Interface Bandwidth Configuration on NPM

Guys,

I have a firewall interface under monitoring in NPM. Though the interface on the device is Configured for 10Gbps Bandwidth, the NPM only calculates it for 1Gbps.

Thus NPM calculates the Percentage Utilization of the Port wrong and keeps trigger me alerts saying it has crossed its threshold.

How can make my NPM aware that the Interface bandwidth is 10gbps and not 1gbps?

You can set custom bandwidth for the interface (Interface Details -> Edit Interface -> Custom Bandwidth).

I'm having a similar problem. My interface is 100Mbps but the internet link data travels across is only 30mbps. I go into (Interface Details -> Edit Interface -> Custom Bandwidth) and change the bandwidth to 30mbps but the information is not reflected in charts. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you got a bandwidth statement on the interface itself?

There may be a statement on the interface, NTA takes this statement into consideration? I'll have to check for it tomorrow, thanks for the advice!
