Is the -Previous variable modifier supposed to work with advanced alerts, or just basic alerts?
If just with basic alerts, if SolarWinds is moving away from basic alerts, is this modifier going to be implemented with advanced alerts?
What do use use this variable for? And, yes, we'll eventually be phasing out basic alerts.
A notification like "Response time has dropped from ${AvgResponseTime-Previous} to ${Node.AvgResponseTime}" when the alert is cleared.
It is helpful for my NOC to know why an alert was cleared.
