Removing filter selection from Syslog and Alerts page

Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to permananetly set the 'hide' button on the Syslog and Alerts pages.   We are making a custom NOC screen that uses these pages.

Every time they refresh the filter selection shows up using up a large %age of the frame.

Ignore that request.  I have made a custom screen and this does not have this problem.
