HOW TO MONITOR HARDWARE HEALTH IN ESXI 5.5 HOST?

I already added vmware node by snmp and poll for esx,but don't show hardware health item,who can help me to do ?npm version is 10.4. thank you very much.

Hardware health for ESX hosts is provided out of the box by Server & Application Monitor, not by NPM

I'm pretty sure you need to install the Dell OpenManage System Administrator for ESXi 5.5 software on the ESXi host. You can download the installation bundle (as a VIB) from the Dell website and install it using vSphere Update Manager.

I have not installation bundle (as a VIB) from the Dell website,and hardware health item display one time,but lose now .............

you need to enable the CIM service under security profile, also make sure you use the ibm/dell/hp iso as it contains extra software components related to that particular hardware platform

Hardware sensors are part of the ESX firmware. So, no need to install Dell OpenManage agents even if one is available. The most likely issue is the CIM service as Jeremy has pointed out

I agree with jeremydr. We had the same issue and once we enabled the CIM service we then had the Hardware Health of Servers option after listing the nodes resources.
