Is there any way to write rules to suppress or correlate multiple identical traps? For example, if I receive traps from a 24 port switch, and port 5 is flapping Up/Down, I want to suppress those identical traps after 2 are received (so I don’t flood my inbox with emails). I can’t figure out a way to write a rule to do this without writing a rule for each of the 24 ports. In large environment, that is not feasible. Any help on suppressing identical traps in general is greatly appreciated.
