Remove all nodes from home page...

I would like to remove the all nodes list from the home page and let the map expand accross in to that area. How can I do this?

Create a customized view called "maps" with just one column ~ 1200 pixels wide
(or whatever width your map is).

Now go to the menu bar and add a new Item called Maps.
In the description/link box addd the following:
/netperfmon/viewname=maps (edit an existing menu item first for exact syntax)
