Orion is accessing the following sites, to name a few:
nuggad.net
doubleclick.net
rubiconproject.com
admeld.com
How do you opt out of this and stop Orion from accessing the internet.
Is a firewall rule the only way to do it?
Deltona
Hi Deltona,
I've looked into source codes of Orion and there is no any occurrence of the mentioned sites.
May I ask you what makes you think that Orion accesses them?
What exactly Orion modules are we talking about? Orion has NPM, APM, NCM, NTM, IPAM, etc.
What modules do you have?
Also Orion is a customizable in a way. Make sure that accessing these sites is not a matter of customization.
Thanks,
Denys.
Hi there,
By use of DPI I have found that Orion is accessing these sites. No custom HTML pointing to these sites are in use. External websites do not link to these sites either.
Nothing on the system is configured to access the internet, well except for Microsoft's own NCSI service, and Windows Update.
Running all modules @ latest version with the exception of NPM, it is currently 10.4 RC.
Will look further into it with detail.
Sorry for the confusion. One of my SEuM transactions loaded a site that linked to other sites, thereby tracking activity!
Thanks for the swift reply.
