I have a few devices that had the memory upgraded. Since then the Node Description has shown the wrong information. We use this field in reports for our customers, so I need to update it. Does anyone know how to change this?

Core services support many different Orion products. I'm guessing you are running NPM v10. Go the node details page for one of those devices and click on rediscover. If you have a lot of devices you can kick off a rediscovery in Network Sonar under Settings.
The rediscovery did not update the description field, it still shows the old memory amount. Under disk volumes the physical Ram has the correct amount.
Hmm... isn't the data collected by the "Node Description" and "Machine Type" information simply gathered from the SNMP Agent on the device itself? Sounds like you might need to reach out to the device vendor.
