Changing / Editing of volume label names

Is there a setting that allows me to change what shows when i create an alert on a volume. I simply want to show a drive letter (C, D etc) rather than the whole descripton (C:\ label: Serial: ....). It would make my alerts much more cleaner and easier to read.

You can do this using more SQL.Open the advanced alerts which is created,move to "Trigger actions" tab.Now edit the trigger action which is configured.You should see a pop up window.Please select "Insert variable" option.By doing so,you should now be in the "Select variable" pop up window.

Go ahead and enable the option "Define SQL variable".Enter the query found below and some modifications according to your needs.

Select substring(caption,1,1) from volumes where volumetype in ('Fixed Disk' ,'Compact Disk') and caption not like '/%'

Then you need select "Build Select Variable" option and hit Ok. You should be all set to go.Please let us know your results.
