Does 2002 engineers edition support snmp trapping?

Hello, Our company has the Solarwinds 2002 Engineers Edition and we are wanting to trap SNMP message's coming from another machine and from that, submit a command line.
Can anyone tell me if this software is capable of doing any of the things mentioned above. Do you have any advice/suggestions as to what i should use to do such a thing?

Do a search in this forum for Syslog or Trap.
