Alert Custom Properties - Use Case Scenarios - RFC

Hi Guys, I am exploring alert custom properties (ironically, never used them before). Would you mind sharing some case studies from your real working setup if you have manged to get them to work in your environment. I am just looking for ideas and inspiration for implementing workflows around this

I don't think you are the only one, I know I've never had a use for them either and i rig up all kinds of things with most other types of properties.

I've imagined that you could use them to tag which department created which alert in a big place, but so far basic naming conventions seem to have been able to address that need well enough.

Agreed. A good question.

I've got a feature request in that they be [or create] alert instance specific [CPs], rather than alert (config or object) tied. I haven't come up with a good use case at that level.
