IPSEC VPN tunnel monitoring

Hi,

I would like to ask assistance if possible to monitor link status of the site-to-site IPSec VPN tunneling between MS's Checkpoint FW and all remote sites VPN appliances

I am also interested in how to do this. NPM, Checkpoint Firewalls, need to monitor any statistics for site-to-site VPN tunnels.

You'll need to use the Universal Device Poller (UnDP) and create a custom poller for this. I don't have CheckPoint in my environment any longer, so I don't know what OID to tell you to use.

Hi,

I'm interested in this matter. My Checkpoint IP 390 terminated about 20 tunnels VPN site-to-site. I would like to monitor the status and the throughput in each tunnel interfaces.

I think the Checkpoint Software must have that information in MIB first, then Solarwind NPM will have those information by querying appropriate OID.

Does anyone try such things, please do advice.
