Custom MIB Poller Issues for Large Deployment

Is anyone polling a large amount of nodes with Custom MIB Pollers
for all the nodes ? I am trying to poll between 600-1000 nodes that all need a set of 7-10 Custom MIBS Polled. It all seems nice and fine for a few hundred, but running nothing but the CMP, and after about 500 nodes all I get in the Custom Poller data is "no data" I have noticed the CMP crashes and restarts about every 90minutes to 2 hours. The Server is not being tasked, running under 10% (CPU, MEM, NTWK). SQL seems under controll too. Tried about everything and working with support as well. Just looking for some more ideas.

I had similar issues with the beta and with the early versions of 8 when I had a lot of mibs (200+) I think it didn't scale well initially it's possible with that many nodes that perhaps it still doesn't scale all that well. I know they worked pretty hard to get me fixed so that it scaled to meet my needs. I think you might want to talk to support this may need to go to development. You may also find that the new version which is to be released any time now already takes care of this problem. I know it is supposed to take care of the custom poller problem that I am currently having where it stops collecting data but keeps running.
