Using the new APM, when an application (monitor) is down, the node status does not change. Shouldn't the node show as yellow in the web console?
What type of monitor/device is this?

We've talked about what the nodes should show. I don't agree that it should show yellow. To date, the color of the icon representng the node has been a reflection of the status of the node itself. We wouldn't want to change that.
An application seems more to me like an interface. It is an attribute of a node. The question we have is how to represent that status. One option would be to have the red square blink the way it does for an interface, although may be overloading that UI element. Another option we've considered it having a different kind of overlay to represent a problematic application.
What are your thoughts?
The initial thought is to have them treated more like an interface. Another idea is to provide a configuration option to allow the customer to choose different display options based on the node.
