How to get rid of "Product Evaluation Expired" message in Orion

Since our latest upgrade there is an unsightly "1 product evaluation expired" message at the top of my screen.

See screen grab attached. You can look at ">>Details" but there is no option to "Send to the Fire Pits of Mordor".

That's what I would like. Any tips that don't require a ring?

Do you actually have an eval that has expired? If so, there are two options:

1. Buy the expired product. Once you install the license you receive after purchasing the product, it should go away.

2. Uninstall the expired product.

Personally, I vote for #1.

Would you put up a screenshot of what you are seeing when you hit the details button.

Can you also check what you have installed by going here and put up that screenshot also

C:\Program Files(x86)\Solarwinds\Orion and search for the OrionVersionChecker.exe

This handy little exe will tell you exactly what you have installed.

Thanks - that did it. I uninstalled IP SLA Manager.

What would make IP SLA Manager more valuable to me would be if it was integrated with a service

such as to quantify call quality of off-net calls. Kind of a "Keynote" of voice calls. Dummy calls would

be placed to phones around the country or around the globe and conversation played/received.

Statistics would be gathered about the sound quality of the calls and collected and reported.

It would be noted what carrier the phone line was on. In the end I would have a map and

it would show me quality of calls to various parts of the globe.

Off-net monitoring with synthetic (voice) transaction is more important than internal call quality measuring as these are calls from our customers.

Poor voice quality there can mean $$. Internal issues at worst mean PO'd employees who would then bonk me on the head and I'd fix the issue

with QoS. But it hasn't been an issue internally. Off-net on the other hand does rear its ugly head from time to time and better monitoring tools would

be a good thing.
