i have a new webserver, and i want to take the load off of my old box... what services can i kill of? is the information service for the website? if so, can it be tturned off on the extra pollers too? i have 4 extra slx pollers....
You need all of the services. The information service is used for a wide variety of purposes, so you can't turn that off. Just serving the website from a different box will help some, but you need those services.
