Two Nodes, One IP

A node goes down in NPM. It loses its IP lease. Another node is added with that same IP. Now both nodes show as up, and both have the same IP.

How long will it take NPM to realize that the first node has the wrong IP, and is that setting configurable? Does NPM ever set the IP to 0.0.0.0 when it cannot resolve the FQDN?

To recitify the issue system wide go to Settings -> Network Sonar Discovery and setup a discovery there. Have it run daily and that will clean up any orphaned nodes.

It would be detected and corrected at the next scheduled discovery.

Will clicking on Rediscover fix the problem? What IP address will it give the Node that is down?

Yes, unless you click rediscover on the down node details page. The down node will have null IP.
