Add search option to Orion web interface

Hello ! I am a SolarWinds Orion newbie so I hope this question is not too basic.

I want to add an option to our Orion web interface so that we can search for nodes by serial number. We capture the serial number with a MIB and it shows up on each nodes web page, but I want the option to search to appear in the drop down list so we can search by the information. Is there a way ?

That would be a nice option, but I believe the only way you could do that is by creating a custom node property & then manually putting those serial numbers into the custom property.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that was not the only option, but I did see how to add the custom poller and make it appear ont he web drop down list.
