Orion NPM web console

If I do monitoring as business to my customers and I have one instalation of Orion on a customer on city A, and there is another instalation of Orion on city B, if I am on city C can I read the information of both Orion on only one cosole? They are diffente companys, but I am responsible for monitoring both.

I think you'll have to either monitor them all individually or possibly use EOC:

I don't do this personally but I think that's what EOC is for... to monitor multiple Orion installations within one console.

I had a similar senario and the solarwinds support guy said that I could build a custom property for each node like "CITY" and them create users with priviledges to see only certain CITY values. You'd then be able to have the administrator with priviledge to see all cities, and AdminCityA would only be able to see CityA. I haven't gotten around to doing that for my sites but if you have a test orion server to try it out, that was a suggestion for my situation.

When you have multiple customers the problem you run into in a situation like this is that you may be monitoring multiple customers with overlapping address space. The keeps you from being able to use one NPM server to monitor them all. When $$$ permits best practice would be to have an NPM plus plugs for each customer and use something like EOC to consolidate the view of all the customers you have.
