Hello,

please does NPM track internet links (uptime and downtime), monitor users and check heir band width consumption??

if it doesn't, could you recommend one that does.

and also please, is NPM and other solar wind product compatible with Checkpoint?

Hi, thanks very much, this has been extremely helpful. Does NTA also check Quality of Service (QOS)? In SCM, does it just mange server, is it capable of managing the configuration of switches, routers and firewall?

You can monitor if a link across the internet is up by monitoring the destination IP address as an ICMP node.

If you want to monitor the availability of a specific TCP port, you could create a Netpath probe to that ip;port

But monitoring if a specific service is available can't be done using NPM. This can be done with Server and Application Monitor.

I don't know about Checkpoint so I can't help you there.
