I just finished up upgrading our environment to the most recent versions last week. Today, I noticed that it hasn't sent out Reboot Email Alerts since a few hours after we finished the maintenance and brought all the services back online. I found a KB article (Reboot alert does not trigger or send e-mail messages on nodes - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support ) that says to install Orion Platform HF2. I have HF3 installed. Is anyone else running into this issue on 12.1 with Orion Platform HF3?
In the Node Details page of the device in question, does it display the correct, actual, real, LAST BOOT date/time stamp?
Check the NEXT POLL time stamp : is it stuck in a date/time in the past?
Try loading a fresh from scratch run of the LIST RESOURCES page of the node in question : is it able to load or does it error out?
I haven't had the problem since upgrading (also on 12.1 HF3), but I had if all the time on 12.0.1 (and prior) so I'll be sure to post in here because I was told on multiple occasions that it would be resolved when I upgraded.
I ended up rebooting the whole main poller and it seemed to do the trick.
This is what I've been doing: Reboot Alert - Why so silent?
