AD support for Custom Property Fields

Question

Is it possible to create a "Custom Property Field" using the Custom Property Editor for Solarwinds and then have Solarwinds populate the data in this filed from information contained within a field in AD?

From what I can see this isn't possible, but boy this would sure be a nice featue to perhaps add?

What we like to do is dynamiclly populate a custom field that we created called Location with the data that is contained in the description field for each server in AD.

I created a script that pushes the OU and description into custom fields - that is supported to write to it, but not a built in feature.

After I tought about this more... I realized that I really should be using the location field in the SNMP setup and the problem here is really with our provisioning process as we need to populate this field during server setup.

Still the idea of being able to populate a custom field with AD data does make one think that this might be a good feature.
