In cisco we can set the ifindexfixed,even if we reload the equipment, the same index will appear. how about in Tellabs equipments? What command should we apply for us to be able to set the INDEX? They are currently upgrading the Tellabs equipment and everytime it is restarted, some interfaces becomes unknown. We still need to remove and then add again the node for us to be able not to see any unknown interfaces. We have overcome this with cisco equipments by issuing some commands. Maybe we need to set this also in the Tellabs equipment, any idea? Or do you any other ways for us not to delete and add nodes just to have the unknown interfaces disappear? Thanks.
