help needed w/ MIB polling and CIFS/SSH2 testing

We have 9.5 NPM.

I have a request to monitor a NetApp filer and its drives. Working through the MIB was fairly easy and I found the right numbers to create the Universal Device Poler for it but the result is a table. can someone point me in the right direction on how to alert on tabled MIB values? I'm a bit confused.

Also, some engineer wanst to make sure that CIFS and SSH2 protocols are working on the NICs on the filers. I can't see any real way of doing that as a APM type setup but I can't think of any other way to do this either. Any help would be appreciated.

Do they want to backup the configurations from the NetApp devices? So were are you struggling with the alerting on the custom pollers, what is happening?
