can Solarwind NPM 12.3 support UnDP (universal device poller) and Device Studio technology for customize polling?
nikunj_8211 what do you mean? UNDP is a method to custom poll via SNMP OID. Device studio is designed to help you design a UNDP.
With the device studio you can adjust your Default Pollers, or Device Pollers. Node Details such as Vendor, Model, Revision, Firmware/Software revision, and then also CPU & Memory. So if SolarWinds does not get this info from a device out of the box, you can adjust the OIDs the system is using for the Node Details Information and CPU & Memory.
Now any other device details that we may not be getting, counters, stats, and other specifics status or counts that are not achieved with your Node Polling can be pulled by using a UnDP. Uses OIDs just the same as the Node Pollers / Device Studio, but these OIDs would be for additional device metrics.
ex : VPN Web Users, UPS Voltage Input/Output, UPS Battery Capacity, I also used to use UnDP's for Gateway and IPSI registration/status/info when polling an Avaya 87/8800 server (where I did not have VNQM in the past).
