switch configs

Someone said that NPM could copy switch configs, I went to look for one and I don't know where to go to find this. Does anyone know where I would look for these configs or do they not exist? I also have LEM installed, but I don't think that copies configs does it?

The Network Configuration Manager handles Router, switch, firewall configurations. On the Web Console it should show as Configs under Dashboards, or Configs under Node Details of NCM Managed Nodes.

So if I only have Network Performance Monitor, it doesn't copy the configs? Is that correct?

That would be correct.

Are the switches Cisco? You can be notified when configs change with NPM. NCM not required.

snmp-server enable traps Command

Use the snmp-server enable traps global configuration command to enable the router to send SNMP traps. Use the no form of this command to disable SNMP notifications.

Syntax Description

notification-type

(Optional) The type of notification to enable. If no type is specified, all notifications are sent (including the envmon and repeater notifications). The notification type can be one of these keywords:
