What's the easiest or best Alert Reset Condition that can be used to cause a triggered alert to reset itself?

I'd like to build a few alerts - I'll call them snapshot alerts - where they do nothing more than send a value into the NetPerfMon Event Log but won't linger in the Triggered Alerts View.

Something like Number of Rogue Wireless Devices - CPU util % - Interface util % - etc

Is there anything in common which I can use to reset these or any other triggered alerts? I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Just set the reset condition to no longer true. it will work for CPU % and interface % etc. the Rogue devices may be a little tricky.

i was hoping for something a little more 'instant' or 'quicker'.

those could stay hanging in Alerts longer than i want.

say if i build a Trigger for every 60 minutes to get a snapshot of any of these, if the the Trigger condition is still true then it won't reset after 60 min.

Oh, I understand what you're trying to do now. Why not set the reset condition to something that you know will always be true. For example, your alert could reset if the NPM server is up.

The reset condition can be anything really, like

Node Name is equal to <name of NPM server>

Just use any condition that you know will always be true.
