Solaris Application Monitoring
wrgoulden
I've been reading a few posts about application monitoring and have interest in monitoring the status of a Solaris server.
I see you can use NET-SNMP to provide, CPU, Memory, Hard Disk etc. but I am also after a status on services and applications running on the box too.
Has anyone achieved this or am I limited to the CPU, memory etc.. I have little Solaris knowledge so excuse my ignorance.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
Wayne

solaris has its own snmp master agent called snmpx for solaris enterprise manager. You could just look up the process table with this.
