Cisco Devices mis-identified

We are running the latest Orion NPM 9.5 and are having some Cisco 3560 PoE switches being identified by Orion as wireless APs. Some of these switches are Cisco's new 3560 v2 PoE switches. There may be some issues with this new internal hardware. It is causing Orion to try to get AP data and display it in the node pages. Has anyone else noticed this yet?

So you are seeing this on both the v1 and v2 switches?

I went through them one by one. They are all 3560 v2 switches.

Another interesting note, when I have NPM group the nodes by Machine Type, it puts these 3560 v2 switches and our C1250 N autonomous APs in a generic "Cisco" Machine type, like it doesn't really know what to do with them. All the other different types of Cisco equipment we have are grouped with the model number in the group heading. NPM does seem to know the C1250s are APs though.

I have heard that the 3560 v2 switched have OIDs and that may be why they are showing up differently.

Would it be possible to open a support ticket so we can get a defect filed on our side and get any other appropriate info from you?
