F5 Zero Percent Util Per Interface

Question

Hi!

Anyone pls help.  We are using NPM ver 10 demo.  We were able to add the F5 node.  We could see traffic per interface but when we it comes to CPU Util per interface all interfaces are 0%.  What could be wrong?

Hi!

Another thing, I have with the mib file for the f5, how can I be able to pull down the data specific for the cpu util of each port?  Another issue is that reflected only on the NPM are th default ports in linux of f5, what we need is the physical ports of f5 to be monitored by NPM.

Hi,

Here is your problem. Orion doesn't recognize F5's CPU nor memory by default. You have to create customer poller for CPU, Memory etc. Or you can find some F5 pollers in the                Universal Device Pollers page(thwack.com/.../page-6). But none of them works for me unfortunately :( .

Also F5 has multiple CPUs.  If anyone can create a working poller for the F5 please let me know. :)
