Node Discovery with Seed Router Failure

I have a network which I am trying to have discovered through Node Discovery (so that i can generate maps with connectnow, which does not ever seem to work). The network is comprised of cisco nexus 7000s and a myriad of other cisco devices. I cannot ever seem to get a seed router discovered. I could put the subnets in manually, but that never seems to allow connect now to work. Anyone gotten this to work with a L2/L3 switch like the nexus?

Yes, they should as long as they support the bridge mib.

Couple troubleshooting steps

1. if you have toolset or can download an eval copy run the switch port mapper tool, do results come back?

Also remember ConnectNow only supports direct connections as well.

Well the Nexus here is a bad device to try this on as they currently do not support the bridge mib which is what we are currently using to gather some of our topological data.

I have also tried a Cisco 4948, Cisco 3560 and 4510. Do any of those work?

Thanks for the assistance. I redid all my discovery profiles to use a single one instead of multiple smaller subnets, and the connect now seems to work. It would be nice too one day if it could possibly leverage cdp for switch to switch connectivity discovery.
