Physical Hardware tagged as Guest on HyperV

Hi:

I have a situation where I have a physical machine and also a copy of the athat machine on a HyperV server.

My HyperV machines and their VMs are listing nicely.

My physical machine is listing as though it is a guest on my HyperV server.

How might I reset this to esnure that it reports correctly? i.e. You are a physcial machine.

i have one instance of this also.

trick is that the hyper-v guest is not even named the same as the one it is linking too

Likely this is a result of us de-duplicating the nodes based on Hostname, MAC, or DNS name. To selectively turn off de-duplication,
