Delayed Alerts

Quick question.

My network is quite busy and so sometimes the response to a poll from a device does not get back to the Solar Winds server. In that instance I would get an email reporting that the device is down, when it really is not. This happens several times per day so I it gets very annoying and I dont know which alert is a true alert or not.

How can I configure the email alerts so that after say 5 polls with no response, then send out the email.

Anyone know how that can be done?

Hi,

If you use Advanced Alerts, you can configure in the Trigger Condition tab the following option:

"Do not trigger this action until condition exists for more than XXX Seconds/Minutes/Hours"
