Did not receive a Volume full alert

Question

Hi All,

One of the volumes on our server got full overnight and caused all sorts of problems. I wanted to find out why I did not receive any alerts. Obviously, I looked in the Alert Manager and we are still using the standard Alert created by Solarwinds for any type of volumes. Secondly, now that the disk has been emptied, I wanted to see some historical data in Orion on how fast/slow it got filled up and passed the 95% threshold alert. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks

Please ignore this posting. I found the issue. The problem was that this disk was one of the flash memory cards we use in the Server which was reformatted recently. We un-mounted the card which caused Orion to stop monitoring it (for some reason). Unbeknown to us, the card got full and there was no alert sent. Need to find out how we can receive alert if a resource (such as a disk) is taken off monitoring.
