Orion and MOM 2K5

Are there many out there running Orion Performance Monitor as a complement to MOM 2K5? We are looking at possibly implementing both where Orion would handle most of the hardware and communications and use MOM for application monitoring that requires the enterprise OML. Any experiences good or bad to share with this type of approach?
I did notice the MOM integration is not yet available with V8 but was told it would be here soon.

We are running Orion 7.8 with MOM 2005. Integration works fine, although I was disappointed that Orion's alerting seems like it's pieced together rather than a cohesive platform. For example, I can create MOM alerts based on data from the System Manager. However, I do not have the option of creating MOM alerts from the Syslog or SNMP traps. THis may be corrected with the v8 MOM componenet. Of course, it's not out so we don't know that yet.
