Upgrade to SQL 2008

Is there anything in particular I need to be aware of before upgrading from SQL Server 2005 to 2008, or is it just a straightforward SQL upgrade?

We are running Orion 9.5 SP2 on SQL Server 2005. This is an installation that we have been upgrading since Orion ver. 8. We went from SQL 2000 to 2005 when we upgraded Orion from 9.1 to 9.5.

Also, I see that SP3 for Orion is now available. Is there any preference for whether that should be installed before or after the SQL upgrade?

I will let others comment regarding the SQL upgrade part of your question, but regarding NPM SP3, it is up to you to apply before or after, no difference either way
