Alert based upon ICMP

Does anyone know if I can create an alert that will send a page when multiple ICMP attempts are missed? Our SAN folks have asked tohave the SAN controllers added to ORION and be paged when two consecutive pings are missed. At the moment there is no SNMP setup fro these devices. The ICMP properties do not seem to be in the advance options for a device dropping of the network. At least I have not found them so far and did not see anything in the knowledge base for is either. Did I miss it or is this a new odd request??

ICMP = Packet loss. Packet loss is based on the percentage of pings on the last 10 polls. If you miss one ping, Orion actually goes into fast poll mode which will send out 10 quick ICMP polls. So to do exactly what they're asking is tricky. But if you set an alert on packet loss < 80% (or less), you should get what you're looking for.
