Cisco Environmental Custom Pollers

I am trying to monitor the Environmentals for Cisco devices, and I'm a bit stumped on how to do the alerting.

I have figured out (at least it seems to be improved in Orion 9.1 SP4) that I can do a tabular Power Supply State for devices that have multiple Power Supplies. My problems are:
 - How can I alert on the health of ONE of them going bad when there are multiple?
 - I could possibly write an alert scheme that does a complex alert for (Row 1 OR Row 2 OR Row 3), but what if one device doesn't *have* a Row 3, etc.
 - There doesn't seem to be a composite status of the rows being stored anywhere that I could query on.

How are you other folks monitoring the environmentals of the Cisco gear?

With the row1 or row2 or row3 it wouldnt matter if row3 did not exist since it is an OR condition.  Someone correct me if i am wrong but i see no reason to specify the row in the trigger criteria.  I would set the alert to look for the condition no matter what row and then in the notification use the variable to identify the row that triggered the alert.
