How to configure alerts for specific clients joining thin wireless APs

Hi,

I have a audit situation here which I am hoping to solve.

There are some end-points in my company that are not allowed to connect to the Wireless network. What I have right now are the Wireless MAC addresses of these end-points.

How can I configure in Alert Manager, in such a way that if any of these MAC addresses joins to a thin wireless AP, an alert will be sent out?

I can't seem to find the right actions for this alert.

Please kindly advice and share your ideas.  Thanks!

Hi ncsisnet,

unfortunatelly there is no easy way to set up alert like this, bacuse this functionality is not directly supported. You could do it via custom pollers and custom node table pollers alert variables but it would need quite a lot of investigation and manual work.
