My work has 3 c7000 HP blade servers.
One is monitored fully (They have two OA management cards.) one is partially monitored, and the other is not at all. It might also be worth noting that the fully monitored device only has health monitoring on one IP address. I have checked and both OA cards (which is what has been added by the previous solarwinds 'person') and they are being monitored by the blade.
The thing that I don't understand is that the hardware statuses on one is being monitored. The other is in an unknown/undefined state. I have spoke to our infrastructure specialist and he has confirmed that they are all exactly the same config/setup as they were all purchased at the same time by HP.
I have tried to remove and all the node, done a refresh/poll. Disabled the hardware health and it's still saying as undefined. I think, with a certain level of accuracy that it can't be solarwinds as it's inconsistent. I don't think it's the devices, because I replaced both cards on the partially monitored c7000.
I'm not sure what it could be tbh. I don't understand why one would be perfectly fine and then one as an undefined hardware.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
