NPM 9.5 SP3 Additional Polling Engines

Hi All,

We got the following Environment

2 Sites

1 Site with NPM 9.5 SP3 working perfectly

Now we want to install an additional Polling Engine in Site 2 so we also are able to monitor this Site

But ew are a bit stuck at the Administration Guide how to install the additional Poller

Could you give us a brief "how to" install 1 additional Polling Engine?

Glad you got the whole procedure.

For your other problem, you'll need to purchase an additional poller for site 2. Here is the link to do that:

The install wizard should walk you right through it just like NPM did. There is really nothing to it. Is there something specific you're stuck on?

Im just stuck in understanding the installation procedure.

Install NPM on the second site -> run the config assistant and then connect to the SQL Database on the first site?

That is also what's in the documentation as I understand it. Here's a link to the online docs. Can you look at it and if it doesn't help you, can you tell me exactly the step that doesn't work for you...I'll make sure it's updated.

Hi,

Now i understand the whole procedure, thank you.

But now we got another Problem.

We got an single Licence for our Server on Site 1

Do i need a full Licence for the Polling Engine on Site 2? I dont wanna run a whole Server there, just a polling Engine
