Basic Alerts stop working in 10.2

Since upgrading to 10.2 a month ago, I have now had two instances where my basic alerts stop working. The events still register in the web console. Upon sending a test alert a flood of alerts come through. I did not experience this issue with 10.1.

Anyone out there seen the same thing, or ideas to troubleshoot this? Thanks.

Can you open a ticket on this and post back with the ticket number and results?

Any follow up on this? I am seeing the exact same problem. Basic alerts stopped working (they are all enabled). Once I send a test message, they all come flooding thru. It is like they are stuck in a queue, and the test message flushes them out. What was the result of this? Any fixes?

Look on the basic alerts main screen. See if the Temporarily disable all action for all alerts" is checked. There was a bug in some 10.2 upgrades that set this to true. If it is checked just uncheck it.

I did. First thing I checked, as I have had a problem with that before. It is unchecked. Current problem is that alerts do not go out. They seem to be stuck in a queue until I do a "test" in the Basic Alerts screen. Then they all get flushed thru until the next time. I can even see tmp files stacked up in the \program files\SolarWinds\Orion\PendingAlerts folder. Any idea what can be causing this? BTW - this is only for Basic Alerts. Advanced Alerts seem to work OK.
