Is there a way to add tabs to the menu bar

I am not sure this question has ever been answered. I have a ton of links on my menu bar and want to know if there is a way to add tabs to this. I think this would be a great feature to have if it can not already be done. Currently I have 3 rows of links on my menu bar and need a better way of sorting this out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Right now, we are redo-ing the tab UI (to use dynamic text, not images). So this feature is possible in the future, it's not on the roadmap just yet. I'll give this feature a bump.

You're not the only one with link mania! Tabs and folders are enhancements that we've been looking at for a while, they just haven't made the cut yet, there have been too many other higher priority features to work on.

There is no way to create custom tabs right now, but here is the future plan (can always change):

- Static tabs in the next major release of Orion NPM. Two static tabs for NPM (a home tab and a network tab), and an extra tab for each module. This should help a little with organizing links and will allow us to have more than one page in the top bar per module.

- Custom grouping/folders have been in the works, but I'm not sure a release has been targeted. I will give this feature a bump, I think it would help you. The idea is to allow users to put a group of links into a folder and this folder would become a drop down in the menu bar, if that makes sense. Do you think you would use this feature?

Yes I would use any drop down feature since being able to customize the menu bar only works to the point it is no longer a giant cluster.

Hi there! Very sorry for hi-jacking this old thread. I've been searching for ways to add more tabs on the menu bar - all except editing the actual style-sheets, etc. I don't want to break this software because it works brilliantly.

To refer back to the previous comment regarding menu items, etc.

These static tabs really work great, but they are considered to be the "Main Menu" of the entire interface. They are very limited in terms of top level description and we would really like to customize this for our environment.

Are there any plans to extend this beyong the static tabs & module tabs??
