"You do not have permission to access that view"
Hi all,
After upgrade from 8.1 to 8.5 my Orion website has stopped working, giving me the above error.I have installed the Upgrade as well as the 8.5 hotfix.
Everything else seems to be working fine. Have any of you seen this error before.

where you accessing an interface, a node, an application, a volume?
The user you are logging in with does not have the rights to view whatever you are trying to acccess. Go to the admin portion of WebUI and modify the user you are logining in as. The "details" views have been changed around a bit in 8.5 and moved under "Username's application monitor settings" and "username's network performance monitor settings, expand them using the "+" signs and verify that user still has application, node, interface, volume details
I had this same error as well. If you are using DirectLink Accounts, Try the following:
Open IE and enter http://<servername>/Orion/logout.aspx (removes the login cookie and takes you to the login page)
Enter Admin credentials and then go into the account management. From there, you will need to disable the DirectLink account.
For every user that uses Orion, they may need to perform the same step by logging into http://<servername>/Orion/logout.aspx then enter their credentials. Our NOC engineers had to do this to get rid of the login cookie.
This is a confirmed bug in 8.5.1.
