Clear alerts that have no "reset alert" property.
marko
Hi,
There are some alert types which have no reset conditions. Examples would be IOS change or rebooting. Is there any way of clearing these alerts from the Alerts view?
I've searched the forum and read that these alerts can be cleared by going to System Manager and disabling and re-enabling the alert. This is not a good solution as we would like to limit access to System Manager as much as possible.
Best regards,
Marko

We ran into this issue as well. Our idea to address the issue is to schedule an Orion service restart to clear the alerts. Maybe once a day? Anyone see any holes in this idea?

I believe bouncing the service will reset counters such as "High Errors & Discards Today"; if you care about that sort of thing.
