Looking for a way to extend our monitoring capabilities and I have a question regarding the addtional polling engines available for Orion.
Lets say I want to monitor 4 different client networks that have overlapping subnets would I be able to utilize one Orion SLX on my internal network which we will call network A.
Can I utilize a polling engine on each client network that would have multiple NICs in order to communicate with my SLX and the client network.
Example
Orion SLX Network A
Client 1 NIC 1 Network A, NIC 2 Network B
Client 2 NIC 1 Network A, NIC 2 Network C
Client 3 NIC 1 Network A, NIC 2 Network D
Client 4 NIC 1 Network A, NIC 2 Network E
Since I assume every node will have a unique Node ID in the master DB I would assume this would allow me to utilize a SLX license to monitor mulitple networks without having to purchase a solarwinds license for each client.
Any feedback would be appreciated I would like to know if this is possible.
