Resource fields available on Problems view - what feeds those selections

Where does the information being displayed for Volumes with High Utilization resouce on the Problems view come from? I am trying to have it filter certain volumes - I have created custom properties - and that is working for alerts, and events, it just isn't working on this screen. It shows everything.
