Using Syslog Server/Trap Reciever on HSE

We currently have two NPM pollers and a HSE. It appears that the syslog server and trap recievers are 'live' on both of the main servers. Is it possible to also use the syslog server and trap reciever on the HSE. I guess the real question is, does the HSE stop and start those servers when it goes 'live' and when it goes 'dormant'?

My thought is to use load balancing on these servers so I can configure all of my devices to point to the load balanced address so that in the event one of the servers is down, traps and messages are still being recieved and logged.

While I am not sure about the HSE, it has been suggested that load balancing will work with the two polling engines.
