NPM 10 Product Updates

First off thank you for getting this into a release! In order for it to work does it use 80/443 or some other port call to SW to check for updates? Just needing to know so we can open our firewalls for it.

Also...somewhat related...can EOC (if not add it as a feature) do the same thing and "push" updates down to the Orion servers?

Is there something that can be done for those servers that sit behind a web proxy? For APM Thwack posts, you are able to modify the web.conf with the below to specify a proxy server. For product updates it appears that it's attempting direct access via port 80 to 216.205.85.174. Is there something similar that can be done for those that utilize a proxy? If there is not....will product updates always be pulled from 216.205.85.174 ?

If you edit the following file with these values, the product update notification should use the proxy settings.

C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SolarWinds.Orion.Core.BusinessLayer.dll.config

If i made the following changes, would it work? Do i need to restart the services?

Would this then allow me to poll for updates and thwack templates through the web console?
