I have configured an alert to fire when a node is rebooted. The condition is "Last Boot has changed". I have tested it but it does not fire any alert. What can be the problem?
It has started generating the alert but it generates the alert on SNMP service restart and sometimes it is firing reboots alerts only in case of SNMP service restart whereas node remains up for longer time. What can be other condition to track the actual reboot?
We Track the Sysuptime MIB counter to be able to monitor all Devices since sometimes the HRSysuptime MIB Reports a 0. Restarting the SNMP Agent will send a Reboot Alert since the counter will reset to 0. There is currently no way to change the MIB we poll for Sysuptime.
